DEVELOPMENT OF MOLD POWDER FOR 09CuPRE SERIES STEEL

摘要: 在分析攀钢连铸09CuPRE系列稀土处理钢使用普通保护渣存在的主要问题及稀土氧化物对保护渣物性影响的基础上,通过选择保护渣合适组元、添加特殊熔剂及降低保护渣氧化性等技术措施,设计出了具有较强的吸收和溶解RExOy夹杂物能力的低凝固温度、低析晶温度预熔型保护渣。试验表明,研制的保护渣具有良好的使用效果,铸坯表面无清理率达95%以上,该渣试用三年来未发生漏钢事故,能满足攀钢09CuPRE系列钢连铸工艺要求。

Abstract: Based on analyzing the main problems of ordinary mold powder used in casting of 09CuPRE series RE-treated steels at PZH Steel and the research upon effect of RE oxide(RExOy) on the properties of mold powder,a prefused mold powder with low solidification temperatures and low crystallization temperature and strong ability of absorption and solution of RExOy was developed. This mold powder is of suitable component,special fluxes and inferior oxidizability. Industrial experiment results show that the developed mold powder is satisfied with the demand of 09CuPRE series steels casting process, the ratio without slab surface finishing is >95%, no one breakout accident happened in the past 3 years.-
