Abstract: Desulphurization cost of different metallurgical processes such as in B.E., hot-metal pretreatment and in converter both at home and abroad is examined and compared. It is found by comparative analysis that hot metal pretreatment results in lowest cost and from technological viewpoint, is helpful to release the burden of blast furnaces and converters.
