As-cast Microstructure and Mechanical Properties of Fe-12Mn-8.5Al-0.8C Low Density Steel

摘要: 以Fe-12Mn-8.5Al-0.8C低密度钢为研究对象,借助光学显微镜(OM)、扫描电镜(SEM)、能谱仪(EDS)、X射线衍射仪(XRD)等对其铸态的组织及力学性能进行研究。结果表明:铸态组织主要由铁素体、奥氏体和κ-碳化物三相组成,少量块状κ-碳化物会沿着奥氏体和铁素体晶界析出。枝晶偏析会影响Fe-12Mn-8.5Al-0.8C低密度钢的力学性能,经室温拉伸及室温冲击试验测试,其抗拉强度、屈服强度、断后伸长率和冲击功分别为522、506 MPa、13%和6.85 J。Fe-12Mn-8.5Al-0.8C钢的密度为7.0 g/cm3,相比普通铸钢减重效果达10%。

Abstract: The as-cast structure and mechanical properties of Fe-12 Mn-8.5 Al-0.8 C low density steel were studied by means of optical microscopy(OM),scanning electron microscopy(SEM),energy dispersive spectrometer(EDS),X-ray diffraction(XRD).The results show that the as-cast structure is mainly composed of ferrite,austenite and κ-carbide.A small amount of massive κ-carbide precipitates along the grain boundaries of austenite and ferrite.Dendrite segregation can affect the mechanical properties of Fe-12 Mn-8.5 Al-0.8 C low density steel.The tensile strength,yield strength,elongation after fracture and impact toughness of the steel are 522 MPa,506 MPa,13% and 6.85 J,respectively.The density of Fe-12 Mn-8.5 Al-0.8 C steel is 7.0 g/cm3,which is 10% weight lighter than common cast steels.-
