CHEN Mao-ai, TANG Yi-min, ZHAO Neng
2000, 21(2): 1-5.
Abstract(24) PDF(0)
Abstract:
The secondary phase particles in Ti microalloyed steel and heat-affected zone are investigated through the extraction replica and metal film electron microscopic analysis. It is concluded that main particles in Ti microlloyed steel and its heat-affect zone are TiN as well as little AlN.Crystal grain sizes are increased obviously and the quantity is reduced after thermal circulation. In comparison to steels with high Ti and N contents, the quantity of TiN particles in the steel with low Ti/N contents is more than those and grain size is less.During thermal circulation the low dissolving capacity and coarsing of TiN particles appear, which has widely hindered action on grain growth of original austenite.

Abstract(25) PDF(0)
Abstract:
The simulating tests on metallurgical effect of magnesium-based desulphurizing agents with various constitutions have been carried out and compared with CaO-based CaC2-based desulphurizing agents. The constitutions of various desulphurizing agents are analyzed. As a result, the desulphurizing effect of magnesium-based Na2O desulphurizing agent is better than others.
EFFECT OF COLD ROLLED REDUCTION RATIO ON DEEP-DRAWING PROPERTIES OF LOW CARBON Al-KILLED AND COLD ROLLED STEEL SHEET
CHANG Jun, CHENG Xing-de, XU Jian-zhong, ZHAO Yong-ping, LU: Qing-gong
2000, 21(2): 21-25.
Abstract(25) PDF(0)
Abstract:
Effect of various reduction ratios on deep-drawing properties of cold rolled steel sheet has been investigated in laboratory with low carbon Al-killed and hot-rolled coils produced in Pangang hot rolled mill. It is concluded that cold rolled reduction ratio has no obvious effect on the conventional mechanical properties and n-value but effective effect upon r-value. For the low carbon Al-killed steel with 0.059% carbon, the maximum r-value is achieved at the reduction ratio of 73% and Δr -value is monotonously reduced with the increment of cold rolling reduction ratio.
STUDY ON WELD CRACKING SUSCEPTIBILITY OF COMPLEX MICROALLOYED AND LOW-CARBON SiMn3 BAINITIC STEEL
WU Hai-dong, CAO Peng-jun, XU Qi-kun
2000, 21(2): 26-28.
Abstract(16) PDF(0)
Abstract:
Weld caracking susceptibility of complex microalloyed and low-carbon SiMn3 bainite steel, which is characteristic of domestic nature resources, has been studied by the use of TEKKEN test. It is concluded that no cold crack appears in it even if it is welded without preheating. This is related to the existence of mixture structure of lath bainite+low carbon martensite in the HAZ overheated zone.
STUDY AND APPLICATION OF MULTICOMPONENT LOW-ALLOY BAINITIC CAST STEEL GRINDING BALL
YANG Jun, FU Han-guang
2000, 21(2): 29-33.
Abstract(26) PDF(0)
Abstract:
The multicomponent low-alloy bainitic steel grinding balls have been invertigated in accordance to normal grinding balls with high brittleness, low wear-resistance and high wearing-away. The grinding balls are characteristics of high hardness, good uniform hardness and high toughness. By comparision with high chromium cast iron grinding balls, the wearing-away is nearly close to it in the process of ore grinding with the reduction of 30%~40% cost and outstanding comprehensive-benefit.
MATERIAL INJECTION INTO BLAST FURNACE AND EVOLUTIONAL TREND
YANG Shao-li, GUO Xing-zhong, XU Chu-shao, ZHANG Bing-huai
2000, 21(2): 34-39.
Abstract(30) PDF(0)
Abstract:
Present state and action of several BF material injection processes are introduced. It is indicated that every material, which may be fed into BF through the furnace roof in the form of lump, can be injected into BF at tuyere as powder, which is taken for an adjustable means required to achieve high quality, high yield, low consumption and long life. Combined injection method mainly based on pulverized coal injection should be taken as the developing trend of BF injection in consideration of the environmental protection and the secondary resource utilization. It is suggested that the combined injection and combustible waste material injection into BF, such as waste plastics and tyre, should be researched further.

LI Da-biao, WANG Xiao-jiang, LI Qian-wen, CENG Zhi-yong, WANG Jin-chao
2000, 21(2): 52-54.
Abstract(15) PDF(0)
Abstract:
The separation of magnetic materials from converter vanadium-bearing slag in the process of pretreatment of it for hydrometallurgical vanadium recovery has been researched and moreover, the feasibility and optimization of magnetic separation and screen separation are discussed as well. It is concluded that the screen separation is better than magnetic separation since the magnetic material amount in non-magnetic material is decreased slightly and the quantity of vanadium-bearing slag wrapped into the magnetic material is greatly reduced.
