The high temperature practice of the external combustion hot stoves on the new BF at PZH I & S Co. can be realized on the basis of rational combustion schedule,option of optimum combustion parameters, improvement of combustion operation and automatized combustion control.It is coucluded by our research that it's rational to adopt rapid combustion schedule with a ratio of air to fuel 0. 70~0.77,fixed gas flow and adjusted combustion airflow. The combustion process can be successfully controled and a safe,stable and rapid combustion can be realized by means of automatized adjustion of the pressure of BF clean gas mains and automatized closed combustion control depending on five operating varibles:dome temperature,flue gas temperature,ration of air to fuel,residual oxygen of flue gas and BF gas flow. Blast temperature as high as 1100℃ can be obtained and the service life of hot stoves is expected to be extended.
