EFFECT OF END ROLLING TEMPERATURE AND COILING TEMPERATURE ON MECHANICAL PROPERTIES OF LOW CARBON Al-KILLED STEEL

  • Received Date: 1998-11-15
  • The effects of end rolling temperature and coiling temperature on the mechanical properties of low carbon Al-killed steel were investigated through field test and laboratory examination, The results show lower end rolling temperature during hot rolling leads to lower elongation value. The elongation value is little related to coiling temperature. The mechanical properties of cold rolled strip is closely related to end rolling temperature and coiling temperature.
