RESEARCH ON FULL-SCALE FATIGUE TESTING CONDITIONS OF STEEL RAIL

  • The article mainly discusses the full-scale fatigue testing of steel rail with the material tester MTS TestStar,the results of which indicate that it is necessary to further clarify and specify the specifications originally defined for the testing conditions in the standard TB1354-79. Within the range of testing conditions,the increment of loading frequency does not affect the test result, while the excessive gripping force may give rise to detrimental influence.
