The experimental study suggests that the TiO2 reduction can be inhibited by the vanadium oxide present in the Ti containing slag. However, the reduction can't be effectively inhibited unless the content of V2O5 exceeds 2%. As the reduction temperature increase,the migration reaction between V,Ti and Si can be remarkably promoted.
