Abstract

Abstract

With a review to improve the rail steel quality,the present paper illustrates the quality status of heavy rail steel based on the current technological conditions at Pangang, pointing out that only through technical modernization and by adopting a series of advanced technology such as secondary steelmaking and bloom continuous casting with the support of scientific equipment installation and technical process,can the quality of steel for heavy rail be actually improved to catch up with the first class level of the world.
