The microstructure and ferrite volume fraction of high-nitrogen vanadium steel and the base steel were studied with Gleeble-3500 simulator and optical microscopy.The effects of vanadium on deformation induced ferrite transformation of high-nitrogen steel were analyzed.The results showed that vanadium promote the deformation induced ferrite transformation,increase the volume fraction of deformation induced ferrite,and refine ferrite grain.
