Solvent extraction of titanium by N1923-isopentanol from chloride media of different concentration was investigated.The effects of the concentration of HCl,pre-acidification,the concentration of isopentanol,the reaction temperature,the reaction time,O/A and the diluent were studied.It is showed that the percentage of extraction of titanium by N1923 increases steadily with increasing the concentration of HCl up to 8 mol/L,however increases sharply when the concentration of HCl is more than 8 mol/L.The percentage extraction of titanium by N1923-isopentanol is more than 90% with synergistic extraction.But it is poor for the separation of titanium and iron.
