STUDY OF TEST AND MEASUREMENT METHOD FOR COEFFICIENT (mVALUE)OF STRAIN RATE SENSITIVITY

  • The coefficient ( m value) of strain rate sensitivity was determined using rate sudden changing and iso-strain rate tensile test.The effects of stretching speed change and different speed changing positions on the m value determined were discussed. The results obtained show the m value determined is increased as the stretching speed is raised, The m values of different materials were measured and analyzed under same test conditions.
