EFFECT OF COLD ROLLED REDUCTION RATIO ON DEEP-DRAWING PROPERTIES OF LOW CARBON Al-KILLED AND COLD ROLLED STEEL SHEET

  • Effect of various reduction ratios on deep-drawing properties of cold rolled steel sheet has been investigated in laboratory with low carbon Al-killed and hot-rolled coils produced in Pangang hot rolled mill. It is concluded that cold rolled reduction ratio has no obvious effect on the conventional mechanical properties and n-value but effective effect upon r-value. For the low carbon Al-killed steel with 0.059% carbon,the maximum r-value is achieved at the reduction ratio of 73% and Δr -value is monotonously reduced with the increment of cold rolling reduction ratio.
