The steel composition readjustment by manganese ore pellet direct alloying has been studied in the lab.. The factors influencing manganese yielb and[Mn] content in molten steel are considered. The kinetics of direct alloying by manganese ore pellet is investigated according to the liquid-liquid reaction kinetics.
