The heat transfer characteristics of No.1 molten-salt chlorinator of Jinzhou Titanium Co.,Ltd.was analyzed,and a finite element model of steady temperature field of molten-salt chlorinator with ANSYS software was established.The results showed molten-salt chlorinator shell temperature was at 30~50℃,the maximum temperature of molten salt reached to 747℃,and these were similar to field measured data.The heat flux and temperature gradient of molten-salt chlorinator proved that the effect of wall on steady temperature field was very limited,and spraying slurry containing titanium tetrachloride was the biggest factor.So some measures to solve the problem of high temperature molten salt were put forward.
