The X70 QPSL2 seamless steel pipes with wall thickness S(>25 mm) for high pressure gas transmitting has been successfully developed by suitable alloyingdesign,integrated smelting control technology,controlled forging-compression ratio rolling and controlled cooling process,and external spray and internal axial flow process for heat treatment.The testing results and evaluation of the products show that the chemical composition,longitudinal tensile properties and Charpy V notch impact properties of the products meet the technical requirements.The average yield strength,tensile strength,yield ratio and elongation are 559 MPa,649 MPa,0.85,25% respectively.The transverse impact energy of the V type of 10 mm×10 mm×55 mm at 0℃ and-50℃are 213 J and 180 J respectively.Hydrostatic pressure test is qualified under 50 MPa high pressure.Welding performance evaluation indicates that the tube has excellent welding performance.
