The wear test and thermal fatigue test of 3 D printed 5 CrMnMo hot forging die steel and traditional manufacturing 5 CrMnMo hot forging die steel were carried out in this paper and the wear resistance and thermal fatigue properties were compared and analyzed.The results shows that wear loss of 3 D 5 CrMnMo hot forging die steel and traditional manufacturing 5 CrMnMo hot forging die steel are 3.9 g and 3.8 g respectively,and the grade of thermal fatigue crack are level 5 and 4,respectively.The wear performance of 3 D 5 CrMnMo hot forging die steel and traditional manufacturing 5 CrMnMo hot forging die steel are equal,and the difference in thermal fatigue properties between this two kinds of steels is small.3 D printing 5 CrMnMo hot forging die steel has good engineering application value.
