Aiming to resolve the problems of high cost and low yield for industrial recovery of low-grade olivine-type ilmenite in a mining company in Panzhihua-Xichang area,the process optimization was carried out.By improving the screw feeder and the second-stage high-intensity magnetic operation section in the factory,the TiO2 grade in the flotation material can be effectively increased and the cost of flotation agents can be effectually decreased,with the rate of titanium concentrate increased by 14.18%.The optimization can realize the recovery of the low-grade olivine-type ilmenite with higher efficiency and lower cost.
