Analysis of Surface Sliver Defect on Cold Rolled and Cold Rolled Galvanizing Sheet

Abstract

Abstract

The reason on the surface sliver defect of the cold rolled steel sheet and galvanized steel sheet was analyzed with optical microscopy,scanning electron microscopy and energy disperse spectrometer.Comprehensively,the bubble,inclusion in the continuous cast slab and oxide scale are the main reason of surface sliver defect formation of cold rolled sheet,meanwhile the principal morphology characteristics were indicated respectively.
