There apt to be different mechanical performance in different positions of high strength heavy section H beam.In this paper the effect of V-N microalloying on section homogeneiey of mechanical properties of H beam is studied.The result shows that V-N microalloying helps to improve section homogeneity of mechanical property for H beam,especially for strength enhancement in conjonction joint of flange and web plate.The above phenomena are closely associated with different precipitation behavior in different positions of H beam.
