A kind of material which was fit for the working layer of blast composite liner was successfully developed. A series of research was particularly carried out, such as the liner composition, the action and adding amount of alloying elements, the melt and rolling processes. After quenching in oil and tempering at middle temperature, the hardness of working layer material was over 60HRC, the tensile strength was over 1 600 MPa, the impact toughness and fracture toughness exceeded 18J/cm2 and 37MPa·m0.5 respectively. Used in the steel pipe rolling mill, the wear resistance of composite liner is one time longer than that of bead weld liner.
