The heat transfer of BF cast steel cooling stave under steady state was analyzed by using engineering software ANSYS. The distribution of temperature, heat flux and temperature gradient of the stave under steady state was discussed based on calculation. Through the analysis, the places where should be paid attention to was presented under working condition, and this could be a reference for future maintenance and design of stave. Besides, the influence of cooling water-pipe scale on the temperature field of BF cooling stave was discussed. The results reveal that 1 mm thickness scale will cause about 60℃ increase on the hot surface of cooling stave.
