With the slab mould of Lianyuan Iron and Steel Copany(LISC) as a prototype,the hydraulic model experiment is carried out.Through adjusting the casting speed and nozzle immersion depth,the flow form,Liquid surface wave and flow field impact depth are studied.the best parameters of slab caster for each section through this test are determinated,which provide a basis for further improving the product quality,the optimization of mould flow field and reducing cost.
