The different continuous casting parameters have different requisition on the powder's physical performance. Because proper components are the base of powder's physical performance, only understand how each components affect performance can we develop powder to ensure it can be satisfied with continuous casting parameter. The research results acquired in recent 20 years domestically and abroad are introduced, which is about the influence of each component on melting temperature, viscosity, melting speed, solidification temperature and sinter properties. The research localization and something that should be taken in future are also presented.
