Abstract:
According to the steel grade produced at PZH Steel, the effect of main constitution in converter slag on slaging, desulphurizing and dephosphorizing in steelmaking process and on slag's viscosity were studied. The controlled range of (CaO/SiO2), TFe and MgO in slag was put forward. Based on the trial in industry, the system of slag was set up fitting to steelmaking with semi-steel and slag splashing at the same time.

Abstract:
The corrosion behavior of MgO-C brick and Al2O3-C brick immersed in high titania slag was investigated. The influence of process parameters, such as TiO2 content in slag, slag temperature, the rotary velocity between slag and refractory, slag basicity and the ratio of iron bath, on the corrosion rate was examined and analyzed.

Abstract:
The technical process of preparation nanometer V2O5 by Sol-Gel method using industrial V2O5 as raw materials was introduced. A nanometer V2O5 catalyst was made from this nanometer V2O5. The result shows that the catalytic activity of nanometer V2O5 catalyst is better than that of now trade standard.

Abstract:
Three methods of preparing high grade titania feedstock from Panzhihua titanium concentrate are reviewed. These methods include:(a)preparing synthetic rutile by leaching the titanium concentrate with hydrochloric acid, (b)preparing upgraded slag(UGS) by leaching the slag made from smelting the titanium concentrate with hydrochloric acid, and (c)preparing synthetic rutile by leaching the titanium concentrate with sulphate acid. The advantages and disadvantages of these methods are also presented.

Abstract:
Aimed at specially characteristics of skin pass and the consist proportion of lubricant, the study of predicting skin pass rolling force was carried out by theoretical analysis and experimental investigations with rigid, elastoplastic, complete sliding and boundary lubrication model. It was shown that the elastic deformation of rollers and steel sheet has great effect on the calculation value of rolling force when the gauge reduction was less than 5%, so these deformation should not be ignored. The calculation value of rolling force using boundary lubrication elastoplastic model is more accurate than that using boundary lubrication rigid model comparing with the experimental value.

Abstract:
The effect of nitrogen on the strength and aging characteristic of steel was discussed when the alloy additive changed from ferrovanadium to VN12. The results show the strength of the steel alloying by VN12 increases comparing with the steel alloying by ferrovanadium, while the adding nitrogen in steel wouldn't influence the aging characteristic of steel.

Abstract:
HP295 hot rolled plate is one of the major materials used for the Liquid Petrol Gas(LPG) steel cylinder of automobiles. The combined properties of HP295 hot rolled plate was studied based on the analysis of the structure of LPG cylinder used for automobile. Testing results suggested that:the cold drawability and formability of HP295 hot rolled plate are improved by the effective control of silicate inclusions, composite oxide and sulfide in steel.

The different continuous casting parameters have different requisition on the powder's physical performance. Because proper components are the base of powder's physical performance, only understand how each components affect performance can we develop powder to ensure it can be satisfied with continuous casting parameter. Abstract:
The technical modernization of No.1 blast furnace in the relining for the fourth generation lifetime at PZH Steel was introduced. The modernization includes:increasing the capacity of blast furnace to 1280m3 and optimizing the technical-and-economic indexes. The blast furnace bottom adopted high density fire-clay bricks, water cooling device, pure copper cooling stave and Ukrainian large-scale cooling modules. 4 remodelled internal combustion hot stoves were installed. The ability of transmitting raw material was increased. The process control of blast furnace employed DCS system. Meanwhile, an intelligence automatic control system was used to optimizing the blast furnace operation. After the remodification,the equipment and automatic control of the blast furnace reach to national advanced level.
