Coke saving measuresin the recent, years at Pangang are summarized according to various ways of beneficiated materials, high blast temperature, oxygen-enriched blast, pulverized coal injection rate and improvement of blast furnace operation, The effect of related smelting factors on coke rate is investigated in combination with the production data and moreover further measures for reduction of coke rate are proposed.
