The problems, such as easily appearing slab surface crack and nozzle clogging in the continuous casting process of low-alloy steel, were solved through the studying on continuous casting velocity, second cooling model, mold powder, wire feeding operation of RE line and so on. The above-mentioned research is the basis for PZH Steel's 1350 slab caster to produce low-alloy steel?
