DEVELOPMENT OF HIGH-STRENGTH MICROALLOYED STEEL Q390Eq

  • In the course of development for high-strength microalloyed Q390Eq steel plate, the technology of Nb+Al or V+Al microalloying and controlled rolling (CR) were applied. Some analyses on its production process,mechanics properties and welding performances were carried out. The suitable composition of Q390Eq for bridge use and its CR parameters were established. The results are also useful for the development of other microalloyed steel plate with high strength and toughness.
