TEMPERATURE FIELD TEST FOR IRON-BASED COMPOSITE REINFORCED BY IN SITU TiC

  • The distribution of the temperature fields, which were tested when iron-based composites reinforced by in situ TiC were produced, were provided. By analysis of the tested temperature fields, it can be said that the reaction of Ti+C=TiC occurs due to heat quantity released by liquid metal and crystallization heat, when an iron-based composite reinforced by in situ TiC is produced.
