Experimental results of improvement of Panzhihua vanadic titanomagnetite concentrate grade and reduction of TiO2 grade indicate that the concentrate grade of vanadic titanomagnetite can be increased to over 55% TFe, while TiO2 grade is only increased by 0.16% and total amount of TiO2 into blast furnace is decreased by 7% through demagnetization-regrinding-magnetic separation for the existing Panzhihua vanadic titanomagnetite concentrate.Under the conditions of TiO2 content < 25% in blast furnace slag sinter grade can be increased to 49% with ore matching by means of calculation, which has some outstanding effects on the reduction of slag volume, the improvement of blast furnace productivity and the reduction of coke rate.
