EFFECTS OF HEATING TEMPERATURE ON SOLID SOLUTION OF SECOND PHASE PARTICLES AND GRAIN GROWTH IN PIPELINE STEEL

  • The pipeline steel with high toughness is primarily used for petrol and natural gas transmission. Such steel produced with controlled rolling and cooling process generally exhibits favorable combined properties. Quantitative analysis on solid solution of the second phase particles of X60 pipeline steel with increasing heating temperature is conducted,Austenite grain coarsening temperature is tested. In addition, the option of heating temperatures for controlled rolling and cooling is discussed.
