Abstract:
The composition of blast furnace (BF) slag at PZH Steel was changed with increasing of smelting intensity. The microstructure analysis of hot metal and slag containing Vanadium-Titanium show that the TiC,TiN,Ti(C,N) contents were decreased and it resulted in negative effect on BF lining protection. The TiC,TiN,Ti(C,N) containing Vanadium in the iron phase of hot metal play an important role in protecting BF lining. The V-Ti-bearing iron ore is used for BF lining protection not only result from the slag but also performance of the hot metal.

Abstract:
Using industrial V2O5 as raw material,VO2 thin films are preparied by thermal decomposition method on common glass and quartz glass.The resistance changing of VO2 thin films with temperature has been tested by temperature-resistance measurement device designed by authors.The results are shown as follow:VO2 thin film has obvious suddenly changing properties,and the suddenly changing of resistance reaches 10 1.5~2.0.The changing temperature is about 35℃.The major composition of VO2 thin films is vanadium dioxide,and a little other chemical compounds of vanadium.

Abstract:
The pipeline steel with high toughness is primarily used for petrol and natural gas transmission. Such steel produced with controlled rolling and cooling process generally exhibits favorable combined properties. Quantitative analysis on solid solution of the second phase particles of X60 pipeline steel with increasing heating temperature is conducted,Austenite grain coarsening temperature is tested. In addition, the option of heating temperatures for controlled rolling and cooling is discussed.

Abstract:
Impact toughness of HP295 steel plate were investigated at different finishing temperature and test temperature by means of instrumented impact test. LME of impact fracture were measured. Fractography of instrumented impact were analyzed by SEM. The results show that the temperature of ductile-to-brittle rise,impact toughness and crack propagation absorbed impact energy decrease along with finishing temperature rising.The lower instrumented temperature is,the greater effect of finishing temperature on toughness.There is good relation between impact toughness and LME of fracture with topography of fracture surfaces.

Abstract:
On the base of metallurgical mechanism in multi-strand tundish, the scheme of choosing internal shape and design rules of flow control device for six-strand tundish were put forward. The results show that optimized internal shape of the tundish is an approximate T-shape tundish for six-strand bloom caster at PZH Steel. The rational flow control device in the tundish is a combination scheme with a weir and two dams.

Abstract:
By means of analysis the bonding defect formed during batch annealing in cold-rolled coils, the forming mechanism of bonding was found. The influence factors of bonding defect, which includes annealing process, steel surface finish and cleanliness, coiling tension, plate shape, temper rolling process and so on, were analyzed. So the controlling means of bonding was gotten.

Abstract:
Influence of elapsed-time, reheating temperature and gaseous components on decarburisation depth of rails is analyzed. On this basis, the technological measures of decreasing decarburisation depth of rails are presented. Through practically industrial production, the decarburisation depth of rails is decreased to 0.2~0.5mm, which could meet the requirement of steel rails for the decarburisation depth.

Abstract:
The properties of hot-rolled reinforcing steel 22MnSiV were systematically studied. Besides satisfying HRB400 in GB1449-1998,the hot-rolled reinforcing steel has excellent propertise such as brittle transition temperature being lower than -40℃,good deformation-resistance ageing and fatigue behaviour under high deformation and low recycle.Therefore,the hot-rolled reinforcing steel is very applicable for earthquake regions and frigid regions.It is also suitable for reinforced concrete structure.

Abstract:
Withdrawal roll and wrapper rolls were strengthened by build-up welding against their short-life,using PYY125 tube welding wire+SSD welding flux as build-up welding materials.Practice use indicated that steel production reached 2.65×10 5t and 3 54×10 5t respectively during the life of build-up welding rolls.The lives of rolls were increased significantly.The sticking of steels was reduced.

Abstract:
The metal-refractory compound tundish cover was designed through applying situation investigation and failure analysis. ZG30V cast steel cover with low-cement castable lining were developed. This new-made compound tundish cover for continuous casting has several advantages, such as reasonable structure, light weight and good insulating ability. The using of compound cover achieved anticipate effects and good technical-and-economic indexes, satisfied production requirement.

Abstract:
The characteristics and forming reason of faint-sliver defect found in cold-rolled steel sheet were discussed. By observing the characteristics of sliver defect in hot rolled steel strip, taking cold rolling experiment in laboratory and tracing the defect of hot-rolled plates on production line, the viewpoint has been got that the sliver defect could change into faint-sliver. Comprehensively, the bubble in the continuous cast slab is the main origin of faint-sliver defect.
