  • Variations in the solidification coefficient of molten steel with in mold were investigated by means of measuring the solidified shell thickness of molten steel in mold-The comprehensive cooling ability for the existing continuous casting mold is reviewed in combination with dissectional test on solidified shell in molten steel leakage, which provides an important basis for high speed continuous casting of slabs.
