A laboratory test was conducted to add small amount of fluorite,boryte,iron-manganese ore and boron mud to vanadium titanomagnetite concentrate sinter mix and to investigate the effect of SiO2/TiO2 variation on the sintering process and sinter metallurgical properties. The test shows that addition of adequate fluorite and iron-manganese ore to the mix charge can notably increase productivity. Fluorite can improve low temperature breakdown property of sinter.
