STUDY ON STRUCTURE TYPE OF SUBMERGED ENTRY NOZZLE FOR BLOOM CONTINUOUS CASTING MOLD

  • The principles of design and evaluation for submerged entry nozzle (SEN) were put forward based on the view of establishing rational flow pattern in mold.On the base of water model experiment and numerical simulation,the reasonable structure type of SEN was obtained for the bloom continuous casting mold at PZH Steel. The SEN has four holes with upward angle.
