EFFECT OF VN ALLOYING ON MICROSTRUCTURE OF 20MnSiV CONCRETE STEEL

  • The microstructure and vanadium precipitates in 20MnSiV concrete steel produced using VN and Fe-V alloying were investigated.The results obtained show the more ferrite and less pearlite exist in 20MnSiV steel with VN alloying. The amount of vanadium precipitates increase obviously It is estimated that the 20MnSiV concrete steel produced with VN alloying has higher yield strength and lower impact transformation temperature.
