2001, 22(1): 7-15.
Abstract(24) PDF(0)
Abstract:
The reinforced bars in China are characterized by a great variety, lower Strength, bad ductility of some reinforced bars. Therefore, the reinforced bars made in China are difficult to suit the needs of development of concrete structure.Based on the requirement of the concrete structure in the properties of the stressed reinforced bar,the existing reinforced bars are analyzed and compared in respect of strength, ductility, quality stability, anchorage property, constructure adaptibility and economics etc.On the basis of a national conditions and changes of constructure market,a series of proposals were put forward, such as spreading Ⅲ-grade reinforced bar,middle-high strength steel wire and stranded wire, development of Ⅱ,Ⅲ-grade small diameter reinforced bars, optimization or elimination of cold working reinforced bar and development of the technology concerning reinforced bar etc..

2001, 22(1): 16-20.
Abstract(31) PDF(0)
Abstract:
The new Ⅲ-grade 20MnSiV concrete steel was smelted in converter with vanadium bearing ball,i.e. the mixture composed of vanadium bearing slag and reductant. The results obtained show that while low-alloy steel is made, it is feasible and economic to replace ferrovanadium or V2O5 alloying with vanadium bearing ball alloying in molten steel ladle.

Abstract:
The results of tests for production of 400MPa-grade vanadium bearing concrete steel(Ⅲ-grade 20MnSiV concrete steel)using VN alloying and ferrovanadium alloying were introduced. The effects of vanadium and nitrogen microalloying on the properties and microstructure of the reinforced bar were investigated. The mechanism of VN strengthening was discussed.the costs of VN or ferrovanadium alloying were compared.

2001, 22(1): 26-29.
Abstract(21) PDF(0)
Abstract:
The microstructure and vanadium precipitates in 20MnSiV concrete steel produced using VN and Fe-V alloying were investigated. The results obtained show the more ferrite and less pearlite exist in 20MnSiV steel with VN alloying. The amount of vanadium precipitates increase obviously It is estimated that the 20MnSiV concrete steel produced with VN alloying has higher yield strength and lower impact transformation temperature.

SONG Li-qiu, ZHOU Yu, LI Gui-xue
2001, 22(1): 34-39.
Abstract(31) PDF(0)
Abstract:
The microstructure, subregion micro-hardness distribution and microwidth of flash welded HAZ of cold rolled low carbon sheets having different composition (steel A and B) were investigated. The results obtained show the microstructure characteristics of the welded HAZ of the cold rolled low carbon sheets (steel A and B) are same, but the ferrite grain sizes are different. On the basis of the microhardness variation, the HAZ is divided into five subregions. The microstructure characteristics change obviously from the fusion zone of the welded HAZ to the basis material with far away from the fusion zone. Compared with the steel B,the HAZ microwidth of the steel A is wider, but the microhardness is lower in contrast to the basis material. Therefore, the role of “restrain strengthening” reduces, the softening takes place in the HAZ. In contrast to steel A, the softening doesn’t take place in the HAZ of the steel B.

FANG Shu-fang, QIU Tao, CENG Qing-jiang, CHEN Xing-yuan, WANG Zheng, ZHOU Yu
2001, 22(1): 40-47.
Abstract(23) PDF(0)
Abstract:
The macroexamination and micro-examination of the characteristics of the common cavity defect in cold rolled sheet of low carbon Al-killed steel were carried out. The results obtained show the cavity defects are divided into three types. The cavity formed due to normal tensile crack is related to the inclusion in the basis sheet. while the spalls from the basis material or the foreign matter are forced into the basis sheet, the scar and pit type cavities are formed. The rest is related to rolling process.

2001, 22(1): 48-52.
Abstract(23) PDF(0)
Abstract:
The experiment for desulphurization of molten steel under vacuum condition was carried out in 10kg vacuum furnace. The results obtained show that the desulphurising capbility of CaO-CaF2 system is better than that of CaO-CaF2-Al2O3 system. The pre-melted desulphurizer is characterized by higher and stable desulphurising percentage, good moistureproof ability and less erosion of the refractory.

Abstract(40) PDF(0)
Abstract:
The mathematic model for predicting temperature of molten steel for continuous casting was developed on the basis of temperature drop law of molten steel at PZH steel.Based on the results of the model calculation, a series of measures for controlling temperature of molten steel were put forward and used. The overheating degree of the molten steel in tundish was controlled below 25℃.

ZHANG Xiao-hua, QIU Xiao-gang, LU Guo-qing, TANG Jing
2001, 22(1): 63-68.
Abstract(34) PDF(1)
Abstract:
The coefficient ( m value) of strain rate sensitivity was determined using rate sudden changing and iso-strain rate tensile test. The effects of stretching speed change and different speed changing positions on the m value determined were discussed. The results obtained show the m value determined is increased as the stretching speed is raised, The m values of different materials were measured and analyzed under same test conditions.
