Abstract
The experimental study on dephosphorization for hot metal pretreatment by CaO-Fe2 O3 -CaF2 flux was performed. By adding CaO, Al2 O3 and Na2 CO3 into dephosphorizing flux, the dephosphorization rate is somewhat increased. The results show that by using Al2 O3 substituting for some CaF2 , the content of final phosphorus in hot metal can be controlled to be 0.003%~0.006%, and the dephosphorization rate exceeds 90%.
