Study on the Metallurgical Effects of Electric Pulse Acted on Molten Steel in Tundish

摘要: 在攀钢1#板坯连铸中间包上,采用电脉冲处理钢液以提高凝固后铸坯的等轴晶率,对铸坯中心偏析和铸坯内部质量等冶金效果进行了分析。试验结果表明,电脉冲处理中间包钢液后,铸坯等轴晶率为53%~91%,平均66%,与未经过电脉冲处理铸坯相比,铸坯等轴晶率平均提高了45%。电脉冲处理后铸坯中心偏析明显减轻,铸坯内部质量更加良好。电脉冲处理改善铸坯中心碳、磷、硫等元素偏析效果明显,并且随着电流和频率的增加,改善效果更加明显,有利于提高其热轧板力学性能。Abstract: The metallurgical effects of electric pulse acted on molten steel in the tundish of Panzhihua Steel were studied,including the element segregation improvement for casting slabs and refining crystal structure. The results show that,the equiaxed crystal ratio could be 53% to 91%,average was 66%, which was higher 45% than that without electric pulse treatment;the center segregations of C,S&P of casting slab have been significantly reduced with increasing of the electric current and the frequency of electric pulse,mechanics property of hot roiled strip was better after the treatment of EP.
