ZHU Zizong, ZHANG Yuhuai, XU Chushao
1998, 19(4): 1-5.
Abstract(22) PDF(0)
Abstract:
Based on the mathematical model of pulverized coal combustion in raceway under oxygen-rich high PCI rate at Pangang 4#BF, when coke rate and blast temperature are 580kg/tFe and 1050℃ respectively. if injected coal rate exceeds 155kg/tFe, blast oxygen-rich rate should be over 2%, blast furnace operate smoothly. When injected coal rate exceeds 210kg/tFe, even if blast oxygen-rich rate reaches 10%, because a large amount of pulverized coal is not combusted, blast furnace can’t operate smoothly.

Abstract(17) PDF(0)
Abstract:
The effect of combined microalloying using a little Mo and microalloying element V, B,Re has been investigated on the mechanical properties of low carbon high strength SiMn3 type bainitic steel. The results show that combined microalloying can remarkably improve the mechanical properties of the steel, such as as-air cooled toughness, low temperature toughness, temper resistance and strength after high temperature tempering.

DIAO Risheng
1998, 19(4): 10-13.
Abstract(21) PDF(0)
Abstract:
There are reductions of a part of vanadium and titanium oxides on interface between slag and hot metal during V-Ti-bearing magnetite smelting in BF. These reactions result in difference of chemical composition and temperature between slag and roughing slag. The measurement and analysis results of temperature and composition of slag, roughing slag and hot metal show that reduction reactions on slag-hot metal interface make it possible that Ti (C, N ) content is about 0.2%~0.3% more and TiO+Ti2O3 content is about 0.3%~0. 4% more in roughing slag than that in slag, and the temperature of slag is about 25℃ higher than that of roughing slag, temperature of hot metal is about 5-6℃ higher than that of roughing slag. It is a particular phenomenon of V-Ti-bearing magnetite smelting in BF.

HUANG Xu, CHEN Jie, YAO Yongguo, DONG Jun, HE Qiping, LEI Xiuhua
1998, 19(4): 14-20.
Abstract(22) PDF(0)
Abstract:
The effect of H2 on the corrosion dynamics of low carbon steel in coke oven gas was investigated. It is showed that the electropolar process controlling step changes remarkably at 0.15g/m3 H2,corrosion controlling step is cathodic reactions at<0.15g/m3 H2 and anodic reactions at>0.15g/m3H2.There is evidence that the dense protective film forms on the surface of low carbon steel in high H2 coke oven gas. The phenomena are theoretically explained.

1998, 19(4): 21-25.
Abstract(20) PDF(0)
Abstract:
The slag splashing practice has been used successfully to extend BOF lining life at Panzhihua Iron and steel Co. The effects of vanadium and titanium oxides on the melting point, viscosity of the slag and the saturation solubility of MgO in the slag were investigated. The proposals for slag system paramers used for slag splashing practice were put forward.

ZHU Tao, ZHANG Kaijian, YI Lijun, LIU Yazheng
1998, 19(4): 26-30.
Abstract(18) PDF(1)
Abstract:
The effects of heating temperature, reduction, deformation temperature and cooling rate on phase transition point Ar3 and Ar1 of 08Al steel were investigated through Gleebe heat-simulation test. The optimal temperature scheme for continuous hot rolling of 08Al steel was obtained. The results show that the heating temperature should be controlled in the range of 1200~1250℃,provided that heating quality is ensured. It is reasonable to control the finishing rolling temperature around 900℃ and the cooling rate after rolling about 30℃ /s.

1998, 19(4): 31-35.
Abstract(21) PDF(0)
Abstract:
Based on the results of laboratory experiment, the technical parameters of laser quenching process were selected. The roughing roll of Wire Rod Mill at Pangang was laser quenched. The good service results were achieved using laser quenched roughing roll in practical production.

PENG Mingfu, ZHU Shengyou, CENG Zhiyong, DENG Xiaobo, TANG Hongguo
1998, 19(4): 36-40.
Abstract(21) PDF(0)
Abstract:
Because the burden constituents is not rational in roasting vanadium slag produced in converter in multi-hearth roaster, there are problems such as rake adhering and material adhesion. Therefore, the optimization of burden constituents was conducted, making it smooth to roast the vanadium slag in multi-hearth roaster at≤800℃. which is benefit to improve recovery of vanadium in the slag roasted.
